Produce truck.

The produce truck comes every 3 weeks from BC. Along with produce, it sells some dairy and a couple random items. I’d heard of this magic, but had no idea when it would be in town. I stumbled upon it on my stroll today. Score! I accidentally bought 4 litres of milk out of excitement.

Sunday Dinner!

For those of you who don’t speak French… This is a whole chicken in a can.

Cold!

Time for a warmer jacket, me thinks!

Surprisingly it doesn’t snow all the time. It seemed it didn’t even snow the first month I’ve been here. This week, however, it’s been snowing. I caught the snow ploughs doing their job the other night. They must being bundled up because it was minus 32 at the time. Once they plough the snow, they dump it into a pit in my back “yard”.

Ice hair!

This is my new friend Katie and I running to hospital for our health care applications. It’s -32, and we only had a 5 minute walk, yet, our hair turned white from the condensation around our faces.

This happened to me the other night on a date, but it was my upper lip that had turned white. The gentleman pointed out that he could see my moustache. Not embarrassing at all.

*note: this is a terrible picture of the both of us, but it illustrates the hairsicles!*
